Halloween UST Livestreaming and Family Guy!
Just an announcement that I’ll be Livestreaming tomorrow starting around 4:00 PM EST!
I’ll be working on a UST, art, and video for “Lyin’ Cryin’ Pumpkin” and I’m hoping to LS most of my process, from start to finish, including pitchbending the UST, mixing the final song and everything.
I’ve never done such a long Livestream before, so it should be interesting ;u;

Lion – Nekomura Iroha & Yamane Koko
With help from Kibbles in configuring Iroha, I managed to make a Vocaloid/UTAU duet with SillCaracal’s utau, Yamane Koko! I think they go well together, not just in design but in voice 😀
Breeze MMD + AWA Photos
Yaaay this project is finally finished!
I collaborated with Kenji again after he surprised me with a work-in-progress “Breeze” MMD video over the summer. At first, he was planning to use the original music, but after I found the karaoke and a basic UST, I made Aiko sing it. Since the other 2 dancers he used were Teto and Rin Append, I also decided to throw them in to make it a little more interesting. Rin Power can be heard in some glitch/stutter in places, VCV Teto does harmonies, and Rin Sweet + Whisper Teto sing the bridge together.
Many thanks to Kenji for his awesome camera + MME work, to Luna and Sango312 for rendering Rin Append for me, and to KodaP for his mixing tutorial!

Also, though this post is a bit late as I only recently got the photos, but I got to meet up with several UTAU voicers at Anime Weekend Atlanta! Cheesekun, Sparky, Asteriski, Ritz (my friend and Chiyoko’s voicer) and I met up at the Vocaloid photoshoot on Saturday. Sparky was even cosplaying as SHOICHIRO~

Matryoshka Duet + Aiko’s Age…?

Also, I have for a while been considering removing Aiko’s age from her “official” profile. Her voice is certainly not the typical voice of a 15-year-old, no matter how “tomboyish” Aiko might be. I’m now considering leaving her age completely to fan interpretation. If you consider her 15, you can continue to consider her to be 15 (I think I might xD) but it won’t in any way be “official.”
HOWEVER THIS IS NOT YET IN EFFECT!
The terms on Aiko’s bank, limiting her use in pornographic art and/or songs with explicit lyrics are still applicable. However, once I “complete” her RockLoud, PopMellow and BalladSoft voicebanks (I use that term lightly, as I’ll still develop her afterwards) she will cease to have these limitations and will be released to the public moreso as a freeware instrument (as UTAU was originally intented) than a character.
However I won’t stop making art or other character-related things! She’s still a character to me, I’d just not wish to hinder her use in music as much as she has been, and I think the age thing has held her back in that a little. I continually find people requesting my permission to use her for songs that I don’t think are inappropriate in any way and I have a feeling that’s simply because of her lengthy Terms of Use.
Blog design update + Mathieu “Torinoko City”
As you can see, I gave Aiko’s blog a bit of a design overhaul. I wasn’t too satisfied with the earlier theme… I guess I just work better with slick, clean high-contrast layouts. I definitely prefer them anyway!
