YanHe & Bilibili!

I’m happy to announce the latest addition to my voicebank collection, and my first Chinese VOCALOID: YanHe! I’m super excited since she’s been on my wishlist ever since she was first released, but I was always a little intimidated at getting a voicebank for a language I’m not at all familiar with. However thanks to help from Xue and UG, I’m getting the hang of things!

As of posting my “I Am Here” cover with YanHe, I’ve also officially started using my Bilibili account! Everyone’s been super welcoming so far, 谢谢!

LipSync, MMD & VCV!

Aiko’s first VCV demo, “Dance! VR Dance!” has been posted to YouTube and NND, and it also features a new LipSync model drawn by chorvaqueen! This is specifically RockLoud (as usual) and contains the same 4 pitches as her CVVC (G3, C4, F4 and A4). The A4 pitch is still missing some sounds, but I am planning to do a private beta test once her oto is complete so I can know what to rerecord when quarantine ends.

In addition, pianomanjojo on YouTube has created an edited TDA model for Aiko! It has excellent physics and 2 different eye types.

SSParty Album Release!

I’m happy to announce that I was invited to participate in SSParty, a vocalsynth album with the theme of different software singing together!

I produced track #2, “Love Rescue” featuring Kanochi Neko and Megurine Luka. It’s a cheesy as all hell story about Aphrodite giving relationship advice to a hopeless kuudere, set to eurobeat, and I’m hoping to be able to make a PV for it in the not-too-distant future!

Please support the album by purchasing it via BOOTH! Please be aware that you will need a Japanese shipping proxy or forwarding service to purchase, and even then the physical album will take a while to ship due to the COVID mail service shutdowns in Japan, but every physical purchase comes with a digital copy for immediate download!

Hanga CYE is released!

Our latest addition to the VOXYZ voicebank roster, Hanga CYE HackCVVC, is officially out!

Many thanks to everyone who joined us for the premiere on YouTube! It was my second time hosting such a thing, and y’all made it a super fun experience! I’ll definitely be doing this from here on out for voicebank and original song releases.

You can view CYE’s details on his page here, and download him under the “UTAU” tab. I’ve also released the UST for “Feel So Moon” which can be downloaded from the cover UST list here!

The next voicebanks planned for release during the quarantine are Chiyoko DRAGON CVVC, Akiko CVVC, Bunko CVVC and Silesia CVVC. Wish me luck!

Website Updates!

It’s been a while! I’m happy to say that the overhaul of the Studio VOXYZ website is FINALLY complete, save for a few tweaks that may happen here or there.

Below is a list of the changes and QoL improvements:

  • faster loading times (removed clunky plugins, lazy-loading media, caching)
  • GDPR compliance (added that darn cookies notif and updated privacy policy)
  • updated sidebar (decluttered widgets)
  • revamped voicebank pages with tabbed content
  • all download links fixed!
  • brand spankin’ new banner!
  • general cleanup and organization

From here on out, most minor news will be posted via our Twitter, and you can see the latest tweet on the sidebar under Quick News. The @StudioVOXYZ account retweets content posted from my main that is related to vocalsynth media, as well as fanart and works using VOXYZ-series characters. Small updates (such as minor voicebank fixes, etc.) will be posted there instead of as longform blogging. The blog will be reserved for sharing new videos, major updates/releases, and end-of-month overview posts.

Also, most news will be crossposted over to the Community tab on my YouTube page, so be sure to turn on notifications if that’s your preferred news method!

Aiko 10th Anniversary Updates!

It’s hard for me to believe that my virtual daughter will be turning 10 years old next week, and I’ve been working hard to prepare a few special things for her special day!

On July 10th, should all the preparation go well, I hope to hold a brand new voicebank demo premiere on YouTube. However, if the demo is not ready quite in time, I will instead take that day to do a celebratory livestream and stream some of the remaining work on Twitch. If that happens I’ll aim to release on the 17th, which will be the Studio VOXYZ channel’s 10th anniversary!

Either way, be sure to join me on YouTube & Twitch on July 10th! There may still be a surprise announcement that day… 👀

Also! As part of Kikyuune Aiko’s upcoming 10th anniversary celebration, I’m pleased to announce a limited preorder-only acrylic charm featuring Aiko and her signature balloons (and Fuu)!

The final charms will be 3″ tall, not including the star attachment, and have a sparkly glitter epoxy coat to protect the double-sided print!

Preorders will be available from now until July 31st and are expected to ship out early August.

For Japanese buyers, they are also available on the official Studio VOXYZ BOOTH!
