VB download fixes + MomoCon!

Big thanks to @Firehazardutau on Twitter who notified me of several broken download links on the UTAU pages! I’ve fixed them all as well as updated the 4shared links for older voicebanks to Dropbox and Google Drive.

Next up, conventions! While I will not be hosting any panels, I will be attending MomoCon at the end of this month and I’d be more than happy to host an UTAU fanmeet again! I’ll be posting details on UtaForum and Twitter over the next 2 weeks to see who all might be going. Hope to see you there!

MTAC Wrap-Up and Creation Released!

Hey all! I had a blast at MTAC last weekend, despite the rough start to my UTAU tutorial. I was super nervous in trying some different things (the live recording demo, running my presentation off a newish-old netbook) so it was kind of a recipe for disaster. But I hope everyone who attended enjoyed Sekushi Beikon and Meikutsu (the leg UTAU) enough to get interested in possibly making their own singing monstrosities :’D

I’ve fixed up the UTAU tutorials list a bit, added mixing guides, and I’ll be fleshing out the rest of the resource pages over the next week or so!

Also, I’m pleased to announce that over the weekend, Project Sonata’s second album “Creation” was officially released! I’m currently working on the PV for my song “Wandering Star” which should be posted soon, but I’ve added the lyrics to the Media > Lyrics page already! If you’re interested in the album, it’s purchasable from Sonata’s bandcamp here. All proceeds go to benefit the National Association for Music Education!

It’s also been a while since I’ve covered or UST’d an EZFG song. This was a ton of fun to make, despite mixing being difficult. Many thanks to Fuzzle for her help with lyrics transcribing and such! I couldn’t have done this nearly as fast without her ahaha;;

I’ve been a fan of the “How To Train Your Dragon” movies for a while, and a couple of years ago I started on a trance remix of a couple of my favorite tracks from the first OST. I got about 80% of the remix completed in about a day, but unfortunately, I kept procrastinating on it from then on out due to various reasons. But I’m SO happy that I sat down today and decided to finish it! I hope you all enjoy! Download is available on my Soundcloud; or you can find it embedded on the Media > Audio page!

New Guides & Resources Collection!

To prepare for the upcoming panel, I’ve started compiling lists of my personal favorite UTAU tutorials and software downloads! I plan to provide links to these on business cards I’ll be handing out at future panels. Check About > Guides & Resources for the new pages!

While there’s not much finished yet, keep an eye out. I’ll be adding stuff bit by bit in the coming weeks and everything should be finished in time for the con April 14th.

More Convention Updates!

Hey all! Just some news concerning MTAC next month. I’m sorry to say that CrusherP will not be able to attend this year’s MTAC due to unforeseen circumstances.

However, I am pleased to announce that Pachi, our gracious web host and soon-to-be voicer of the lil’ pink cutie in the top banner, will be attending! If all works out timewise (as I have not yet received a schedule) she will be assisting me with the UTAU panel. I plan to do a live recording, otoing and USTing demo with her help.

As usual, after the panel I will be offering an UTAU fan-meet, where we can go hang out and grab something to drink or eat around the con venue. And I’ll bring some UTAU-themed goodies to hand out as well! So please come and chat about singing robots with us~ o(≧∇≦o)
